Job summary

PM Pediatric Care is seeking a Clinical Therapist (LMSW, LCSW, LMHC) to join our Behavioral Health Program. The role focuses on providing psychosocial assessments and counseling for depression, anxiety, ADD, and conduct disorders within an extended primary care collaborative model.

Schedule options include 5 days 1:00pm-9:00pm or 4 ten-hour days. Saturdays are required in person; other days are remote. A caseload of 30–35 patients weekly with a minimum of 5 daily is expected.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work or a related field required.
• Licensed in NY (LMSW/LCSW/LMHC) or equivalent.
• Must have NY Medicaid Provider Number.
• Experience with pediatric and adolescent patients.
• Experience providing teletherapy to children and adolescents preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Ability to work with diverse cultures.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent short-term counseling skills.
• Experience with discharge planning.

Responsibilities

• Perform psychosocial assessments following evidence-based practices.
• Provide counseling and therapy using evidence-based modalities.
• Demonstrate competency as individual, family, and group therapist.
• Maintain ongoing professional development per licensing board.
• Complete documentation including biopsychosocial assessments and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with patient, family, and team to overcome treatment obstacles.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate cultural competency and commitment.
• Respond quickly to urgent or emergent needs.
• Maintain caseload of 30–35 patients weekly and minimum of 5 daily.
