PM Pediatrics in New York is seeking a Clinical Therapist (LMSW, LCSW, LMHC) to join our Behavioral Health Program. The role provides psychosocial assessments and counseling for children and adolescents within an extended primary care model.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work or a related field required.
• Licensed in NY: LMSW, LCSW, or LMHC; NY Medicaid Provider Number may be required.
• Experience with pediatric and adolescent patients is essential.
• Teletherapy experience with children/adolescents preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with discharge planning.

Responsabilités

• Perform psychosocial assessments using evidence-based practices.
• Provide counseling and therapy for patients using evidence-based modalities.
• Work as individual, family, and group therapist.
• Maintain professional development as required by licensing boards.
• Complete biopsychosocial assessments and treatment plans with timely documentation.
• Collaborate with patient, family, and care team to overcome barriers to treatment.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate cultural competency and respond to urgent needs promptly.
• Maintain a caseload of 30–35 patients weekly and at least 5 daily.
