Sevita’s Pediatric Partners division seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to deliver pediatric occupational therapy in home health settings. You will work under the supervision of a licensed OT, helping children build skills for daily activities and participation in family routines.

You’ll collaborate with clinicians, families, and care teams to implement plan of care, document responses, and support families with strategies and adaptive equipment.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current Texas Occupational Therapy Assistant license.
• New graduates may be considered based on mentorship and supervision availability.
• Pediatric or home health experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to provide treatment under the supervision and direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain it.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel within an assigned service area.
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
• Compassionate, dependable, and family-centered approach to care.

Responsabilidades

• Provide pediatric occupational therapy services according to the supervising OT's plan of care.
• Implement treatment addressing fine motor development, sensory processing, coordination, play, self-care, and independence.
• Incorporate therapeutic activities into daily routines.
• Support use of adaptive equipment and strategies identified in the plan of care.
• Observe and document each child’s response to treatment.
• Communicate progress and changes to the supervising OT.
• Educate parents and caregivers on activities from the care plan.
• Collaborate with caregivers and other care team members.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
