Job summary

Lurie Children’s seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant for Hematology/Oncology nights in Streeterville, Chicago. The NA works under an RN to support pediatric patients and families, measuring vitals, assisting with procedures, and documenting data in the EHR. Must have NA or LPN certification and BLS. Strong communication and safety skills are essential.

The position is full-time with comprehensive benefits and a competitive hourly wage range. Bilingual abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus NA/LPN certification.
• Ability to safely immobilize children when needed.
• Strong communication with patients, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform vital signs and basic care under RN supervision.
• Assist with procedures and transport within the hospital.
• Document patient data in the EHR and maintain safety standards.
• Provide comfort measures and respond to emergencies per protocols.
