Job summary

Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital in Washington state is seeking a Medical Receptionist to be the first in-person contact for patients in the clinic. You will greet patients, answer phones, direct calls, and support scheduling, registration, and basic front-office tasks with courtesy and professionalism.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of clerical or receptionist experience, or six months in a medical setting; post-secondary office procedures training is preferred, and relevant certificates

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of clerical and/or receptionist experience; or six months in a medical setting
• Post high school office procedures preferred
• Customer service experience
• Degree or relevant Certificate (e.g., Medical Office Assistant, Medical Assistant, Health Unit Coordinator) may be substituted for experience

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors; answer phones and direct calls
• Assist patients and families; manage scheduling and registration
• Process charges, payments, and batch balancing; operate basic office equipment
