Job summary

Mary Bridge Children's Hospital is seeking a Medical Receptionist to be the first in-person contact for patients and families. You will handle greet duties, phone calls, scheduling and registration for the Mary Bridge Pediatric Outreach, Specialty, Urgent Care and Primary Care Clinics across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Post high school office procedures preferred.
• Minimum one year of clerical and/or receptionist experience; or six months in a medical setting.
• Customer service experience.
• Degree or relevant certificate (e.g., Medical Office Assistant, Medical Assistant, Health Unit Coordinator) may be substituted for experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and families and serve as the first in-person point of contact.
• Answer phones, direct calls and assist patients/families with scheduling and registration.
• Handle charge entry, payment posting and basic front-office tasks with accuracy and discretion.
