Job summary

The Medical Receptionist position at MultiCare Mary Bridge Children's Hospital & Health Network is the first in-person point of contact for families, handling greeting, phone calls, scheduling, and registration in a busy pediatric practice.

We seek candidates with post-high-school office procedures or related certificates and at least 1 year of clerical/receptionist experience, plus strong customer service skills to support compassionate, family-centered care.

Qualifications

• Post high school office procedures preferred.
• Minimum one year of clerical and/or receptionist experience; or six months in a medical setting
• Customer service experience
• Degree or relevant Certificate (e.g., Medical Office Assistant, Medical Assistant, Health Unit Coordinator) may be substituted for experience

Responsibilities

• Greeting patients, answering phones and directing calls, assisting patients/families; scheduling, registration, charge entry, payment posting, batch balancing, cash reconciliation/balancing, operating several types of basic office equipment.
