Job summary

Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital is seeking a Medical Receptionist to be the first in-person contact for patients. The role requires excellent customer service, receptionist experience, and the ability to manage scheduling and registrations with discretion.

This full-time daytime position involves greeting patients, answering phones, handling billing tasks, and coordinating with clinicians and families in a pediatric care setting. A medical office certificate or related training is preferred.

Qualifications

• Post high school office procedures preferred.
• Minimum one year of clerical and/or receptionist experience; or six months in a medical setting.
• Customer service experience.
• Degree or relevant Certificate may be substituted for experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and families; answer phones and direct calls.
• Assist patients and families with scheduling, registration, and basic front-office tasks.
• Handle charge entry, payment posting, and balance reconciliations as needed.
• Operate basic office equipment with professionalism and discretion.
