Job summary

Children’s Wisconsin is seeking a friendly front desk associate to welcome patient families, check in and coordinate with the clinical team. You will be the liaison between families and providers, reporting to the Primary Care Practice Manager.

You will use EPIC for scheduling, registrations, and communications, help families with MyChart access, ensure HIPAA compliance, and maintain accurate demographics and insurance information in registration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED/HSED required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with patients, families and staff.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Greet patient families and assist with check-in/check-out following standard procedures.
• Utilize EPIC scheduling and queues to coordinate appointments and manage registration work queues.
• Assist with patient registration and MyChart access for patients and guardians.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and secure release of information as required.
• Accurately collect demographics, insurance information and consents during registration.
• Maintain proficiency in EPIC and related registration systems.
• Follow ethical guidelines and organizational policies in all actions.
