Angel Kids Pediatrics, the largest pediatric clinic in Jacksonville, seeks a Front Desk Specialist to be the first point of contact for patients. The role handles calls, scheduling, check-ins, billing, and general clerical duties in a fast-paced, family-focused setting.

You will greet families, verify demographics and insurance, collect co-pays, and maintain a welcoming reception area while supporting clinicians and staff across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Answers, screens, and directs calls on multiline phone system.
• Schedules patient appointments.
• Clears Faxes each morning and delivers to appropriate practitioner.
• Meets and greets patients; escorts to appropriate area.
• Composes and types routine correspondence as required.
• Performs general clerical duties including filing, photocopying, faxing, mailing.
• Collects co-pays, deductibles, and all outstanding balances.
• Orders and maintains supplies; keeps reception area organized.
• Inputs patient information and demographics into computer system.
• Validates insurance and PCP.
• Demonstrates professionalism with confidential issues.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
