Job summary

aah is seeking a Nursing Assistant to join Advocate Children's Hospital - Park Ridge Campus. The role supports RNs with patient care, including bathing, feeding, mobility, and accurate documentation in the EMR. You must meet Nurse Aide requirements and obtain BLS within 45 days.

The position is full-time, 36 hours weekly, with 7p-7a shifts, every third weekend and rotating holidays. High school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Certification as Nurse Aide in good standing with state registry.
• BLS certification to be obtained within 45 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care including bathing, feeding, and mobility.
• Document vital signs, intake/output and weights in EMR.
• Support admissions, transfers and room setup under RN supervision.
• Collect specimens and perform basic nursing tasks as directed.
• Maintain patient safety, cleanliness and proper equipment use.
