Job summary

Advocate Health in Park Ridge, NJ, is seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant to join the 34102 ACH Enterprise - Nursing Float Pool. You will provide compassionate bedside care, assist with daily activities, and help maintain a safe patient environment during 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities include assisting with meals, mobility, and monitoring patient status under RN supervision, while upholding confidentiality and infection control policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; current CPR certification.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and patient-focused with basic reading skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide AM/PM care including beds, hygiene, and basic skin care.
• Assist with activities of daily living and mobility as directed.
• Monitor patient and report changes to RN; respond to call lights promptly.
• Support nutrition needs and tray setup.
• Document patient information and maintain confidentiality.
