Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant for the Nursing Float Pool in a part-time day shift. The role supports RNs with patient care tasks including bathing, feeding, mobility, and documentation in the EMR.

You will participate in admissions, discharges, and routine rounds, while maintaining patient safety and comfort. Certification renewals and BLS timely completion are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; hospital certification renewals may be required.
• No prior experience required for this role.
• Nurse Aide in good standing; BLS within 45 days.

Responsabilités

• Assist RN with daily patient care (bathing, feeding, mobility).
• Measure and document vital signs and intake/output in EMR.
• Perform rounding and communicate observations to RN promptly.
• Assist in admission/discharge processes and room setup.
• Collect specimens and support basic lab testing as indicated.
• Stock nursing area and maintain equipment and cleanliness.
