Miami Neuroscience Institute Baptist Health South Florida is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide routine patient care for newborns through adolescents in a family-centered ER setting. You will work under an RN, perform pain assessments, vitals, and assist in procedures while documenting in the EMR.

The role emphasizes patient flow, CPR and IV support, discharge paperwork, and coordination with the nursing team to deliver high-quality, safe care in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Competenze

• LPN license in Florida, active and in good standing
• BLS certification active and in good standing
• CPI certification within one year of start
• PALS certification within two years of position
• Level II background check on file

Mansioni

• Perform nursing pain assessments, vitals, and document in EMR.
• Assist with specimen collection, EKGs, CPR, and procedures.
• Provide point-of-care testing with results documented in EMR.
• Support patient flow by transporting to procedures and admissions.
• Administer medications and assist with IV therapy.
• Complete bedside handoffs during shift changes and patient transfers.
• Assist with discharge paperwork, school notes, and family teaching.
• Document interventions and patient responses per department procedures.
• Restock supplies and prepare/turnover rooms.
• Contribute to error-free, high-quality patient care and meet regulatory standards.
