Job summary

PSCFL is seeking an LPN for an Emergency Room Nursing - Clinical role in Florida. The incumbent will provide direct patient care to pediatric through adolescent populations under RN supervision, with emphasis on accurate vitals, pain assessments, and timely documentation in the EMR.

The position requires BLS, CPI familiarity, and adherence to Florida Nurse Practice Act standards. Responsibilities include IV therapy support, medications administration, and care coordination with the RN and

Qualifications

• LPN licensed in Florida with active status.
• BLS certification maintained throughout employment.
• CPI within one year of start (preferred).
• PALS within 2 years of position (required if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing pain assessments and vitals within required timeframes.
• Assist with specimens, EKGs, CPR, and procedures.
• Document point-of-care test results in EMR (RSV, Flu, Strep, etc.).
• Support RN in patient transport and flow during shifts.
• Administer medications and assist with IV therapy.
• Complete bedside handoffs and discharge planning paperwork.
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation in EMR.
• Restock supplies and prepare rooms for new patients.
• Commit to high-quality, safe care and regulatory standards.
• Provide supervision for behavioral health patients per CPI guidelines.
