Albany Med Health System is seeking an Emergency Department Technician for the Pediatric ED, working an Evening shift. You will assist with procedures, venipuncture, and patient transport, supporting nurses and physicians in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.

Role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 6–12 months of ED/EMS experience, and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff. The hospital is a Level I trauma center with comprehensive patient care resources.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months to 1 year ED Technician/EMS experience desired.
• Honest, punctual, and adheres to high ethical standards as defined by AMC. Communication with patients, families, and staff is essential.

Aufgaben

• Assist with resuscitation / CPR and emergency airway procedures.
• Perform venipuncture to obtain blood specimens.
• Assist physicians and nurses providing technical support for patient care.
• Report on patient condition to the appropriate supervisor/staff member.
• Assist with transport of patients to other departments.
• Monitor vital signs, cardiac monitoring, and non-invasive BP monitoring.
