Job summary

May Center for Early Intervention in West Springfield, MA is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to join a multidisciplinary team serving birth to three in home or daycare settings. You will assess, plan objectives, and deliver therapy within family-centered environments.

You will also train classroom staff, coordinate with families and other professionals, and contribute to IEP evaluations to maximize developmental outcomes. A Massachusetts OT license is required.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an approved program in occupational therapy.
• Licensure: Valid OT license in Massachusetts.
• Demonstrated commitment to student progress and ability to multitask.
• Enjoys working in a multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Completing assessments and writing objectives.
• Design and implement functional activities for OT needs.
• Provide consultation and training to classroom staff.
• Consult with staff regarding students' OT needs.
• Offer direct therapy services when needed with evidence-based techniques.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for IEP evaluations and ongoing support.
