Job summary

A collaborative learning organization in Bedford, MA, is seeking an Occupational Therapist for Early Intervention. This full-time role involves assessing children ages 0-3 for developmental needs and delivering individual home-based and virtual services. Responsibilities include developing plans with families, modeling strategies for caregivers, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support child development. A valid Occupational Therapist license in Massachusetts, CPR and First Aid certifications, and the ability to provide your own transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in Massachusetts.
• Ability to transport oneself to various appointments using a valid Driver's License.
• Certification in pediatric CPR and First Aid is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess functional capabilities of children ages 0-3 for developmental delays.
• Provide individual home-based and virtual services.
• Collaborate with families to develop developmental goals.
• Model strategies for caregivers to aid children's development.
• Continuously assess client progress and adjust plans.
• Research and refer families to community resources.
• Consult with a multidisciplinary team.
• Complete documentation within required timelines.
