Adventure Dental & Orthodontics in Baltimore, MD, is hiring an Assistant Operations Manager to lead front office processes and assist with HR functions in a pediatric dental, vision, and orthodontic practice. Reports to the Operations Manager.

Pay range shown; location: 1253 W Pratt St, Baltimore, MD 21223. Responsibilities include scheduling, process oversight, payroll submission, staff supervision, and contract/payment plan creation for private pay patients.

Qualifications

• Dental practice experience is a plus.
• 1+ year administrative experience.
• Weekend availability.
• Multitasking abilities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of ECW/Dolphin, Payroll, Intero, Google Docs, MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Build a community within the practice to foster teammate satisfaction and retention; develop strategies to achieve goals.
• Schedule appointments for all patient services.
• Manage and monitor office processes; supervise front desk staff and payroll.
• Improve processes, products, and services with creative thinking.
• Create contracts and payment plans for private pay patients.
• Ensure patients are teched and scribed timely; assist team when behind.
• Prepare accurate patient insurance letters.
• Keep the practice clean and presentable for patients.
