Advocate Health Care seeks a Respiratory Therapist to support our outpatient Pediatric Complex Care team at Advocate Children's Hospital Oak Lawn. This part-time position (~20 hours/week) offers flexibility with shifts Mon-Fri, no weekends or major holidays, and may include a mix of 7am-5pm or 8am-4:30pm shifts.

Experience with pediatric patients, tracheostomies, and ventilator management is valued. The role requires an Associate degree in Respiratory Care, RCP license, NBRC RRT credential, and

Qualifications

• Requires RCP license and NBRC-credentialed RRT.
• Associate degree in respiratory care minimum.
• 5 years pediatric respiratory care experience.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to operate ventilators and manage patient care plans.

Responsibilities

• Use respiratory therapy processes to assess patients with a variety of diagnostics.
• Operate ventilators in pediatric outpatient settings.
• Assist physicians with procedures and administer prescribed therapies.
• Educate patients and families on therapy goals and self-care.
• Maintain equipment and ensure safety and compliance.
