Job summary

CareGivers America is hiring compassionate caregivers to support children in their homes.

No experience needed — training will be provided to help you become a certified Home Health Aide (HHA). This is meaningful, one-on-one care in a child’s daily life, with opportunities to grow and advance within the organization.

Qualifications

• No experience required — paid training provided.
• Willingness to work in Northumberland County with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 supervision and support to children in a safe, in-home setting.
• Assist with daily living skills including hygiene, meals, and routine care as needed.
• Implement and support IEPs and BIPs.
• Facilitate structured, age-appropriate activities that promote skill development.
• Support positive behavior strategies and maintain a safe environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide 1:1 supervision and support to children in a safe, in-home setting
• Assist with daily living skills, including hygiene, meals, and routine care as needed
• Implement and support Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and behavior support plans (BIPs)
• Facilitate structured, age-appropriate activities that promote skill development
• Support positive behavior strategies and maintain a consistent, safe environment
• Frequent standing and walking, assisting members with daily activities, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and occasional lifting or supporting individuals
