The Certified Medical Assistant performs office and clinical duties in HOPE Clinic's Pediatric Department to keep care processes efficient. You will collect samples, manage records, explain procedures, and assist with basic examinations under licensed providers across medical specialties.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, CMA or RMA certification within 3 months, and at least 2 years in healthcare.

Competenze

• Completion of a program of training for Medical Assistants is required.
• CMA or RMA certification required or must obtain within 3 months.
• Minimum of two years in health education, patient navigation, and/or health clinic patient assistance preferred.
• Knowledge of HIPAA privacy and confidentiality.
• Bilingual ability in English and other languages is required.

Mansioni

• Front desk, eligibility and check-out procedures competency.
• Triage pediatric patients and document in EMR accurately.
• Measure pediatric vitals, vaccinations, and update records in EMR/ImmTrac2.
• Assist in examinations and procedures under provider supervision.
• Provide vaccines, immunizations and injections as ordered.
• Maintain patient education and discharge instructions; schedule follow-ups.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and secure handling of medical records.
