US Pediatric Partners is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) to support providers in pediatric clinics. You will perform patient work-ups, collect specimens, take vitals, prepare exam rooms, and assist during visits, all within HIPAA guidelines.

The role emphasizes compassionate, family-centered care. The CMA will handle lab prep, medication administration per physician, EMR documentation, and coordination with front office, with opportunities for professional growth and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have active RMA/CMA.
• Must be CPR certified.
• Experience in a pediatric medical practice preferred.
• Working knowledge of computer applications; EMRs preferred.
• Ability to speak, read and write effectively.
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
• Detail-oriented with deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Escort patients to exam rooms, collect vital signs, and document in charts.
• Instruct patients about medications and diets per provider.
• Explain procedures and prepare patients for exams.
• Assist physician during exams and collect lab specimens.
• Perform basic laboratory tests and handle sample processing.
• Maintain exam rooms and stock supplies; manage sterilization.
• Prepare and administer medications per physician.
• Perform venipuncture and follow OSHA precautions.
• Maintain logs for fridge temps, medications, oxygen, and sterilants.
• Communicate with front desk and providers; ensure patient safety.
