HopeHealth, Inc. is seeking a Medical Assistant to support the patient-centered medical home team. The role coordinates care between patients and providers, assists with intake, vital signs, lab work, and medication refills, and helps maintain efficient patient flow.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED from an accredited school.
• National CMA or RMA certification required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsabilités

• Assist the medical provider in evaluation and treatment of clients, including patient intake, vital signs, diagnostics, and lab work.
• Assist with medication refills when needed.
• Facilitate efficient patient flow and room turnover.
• Keep work area neat, tidy, and well supplied; stock exam room daily.
• Perform data entry for reporting and chart prep prior to appointments.
• Respond to phone calls in a timely manner.
• Schedule appointments and provide patient education to patients/families.
• Assist in training new medical assistants to HopeHealth and other duties as assigned.
