Asian American Health Coalition of the Greater Houston Area seeks a Certified Medical Assistant for the HOPE Clinic in Houston, TX. You will perform a range of office and clinical duties within the Pediatric Department, including patient intake, vitals, immunizations, charting, and education under licensed provider supervision.

Requirements include high school diploma or GED, CMA/RMA certification or within 3 months, and at least two years of healthcare experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years in healthcare preferred.
• CMA or RMA required or to be obtained within 3 month probation.
• HIPAA privacy and confidentiality knowledge required.

Responsabilités

• Answer phones and messages the same day.
• Triage pediatric patients and document in EMR.
• Perform vitals, vaccines and basic exams under supervision.
• Prepare examination rooms and stock supplies.
• Assist in procedures and translate as needed.
• Maintain patient records and education on results and meds.
