Job summary

OU Health Partners is seeking a Patient Services Representative for the Children's Gastroenterology Clinic. The PSR coordinates outpatient schedules, greets patients, handles demographics, payments, and clerical tasks to ensure smooth clinic operation.

Two levels exist: Level 1 requires a high school diploma and at least 1 year of experience; Level 2 requires 3+ years in customer service, including clinical exposure.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of professional work experience required for Level 1.
• 3+ years of customer service experience (including clinical) required for Level 2.

Responsibilities

• Schedules patient appointments, by phone or in person.
• Greets patients and directs them to appropriate staff.
• Obtains and updates patient demographics.
• Processes payments and prints receipts.
• Uploads insurance information into EMR and ensures forms are complete.
• Verifies insurance eligibility and referrals.
