Job summary

Allegro Pediatrics is seeking a Patient Services Representative to be the first point of contact for patients and families. The role handles scheduling, check-ins, and front desk duties in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Full-time, four 10-hour shifts, with coverage across Eastside Clinics as needed. Applicants should have strong customer service, basic tech skills, and a commitment to HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• High School/GED or higher.
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude.
• Proficient with computer navigation and multiple software programs.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and schedule appointments using current Practice Management system.
• When in clinic, verify demographics and check patients in/out using PM system.
• Troubleshoot issues with appointments or account questions.
• Maintain knowledge of scheduling policies to assist families.
• Verify and scan patient insurance and HIPAA forms.
• Collect co-pays and post on accounts.
• Work at Allegro Pediatrics clinics as needed for coverage.
• Maintain knowledge of office equipment (phones, computers, etc.).
• Process medical record releases and circulate correspondence.
• Process forms such as camp physicals and sports forms.
• Take messages for physicians/nurses and assist across departments.
• Uphold patient and corporate confidentiality (HIPAA).
