Job summary

Allegro Pediatrics seeks a Patient Services Representative (PSR) to be the first point of contact for patients and families. You will handle scheduling, check-in/out, and inquiries with excellent service in a fast-paced clinic environment.

Role requires strong computer navigation, multitasking across multiple software programs, and outstanding interpersonal skills. Full-time, four 10-hour shifts, coverage across Eastside clinics as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have strong customer service skills and experience in handling phone and in-clinic interactions.
• Proficient with computer navigation and multitasking across several software programs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent interpersonal/communication skills and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and schedule appointments using the Practice Management system.
• Verify demographics and check patients in/out when in clinic.
• Troubleshoot appointment issues and answer account questions.
• Maintain knowledge of scheduling policies and HIPAA compliance.
• Verify and scan insurance and consent forms; collect co-pays.
• Support coverage across Allegro Pediatrics clinics as needed.
• Handle mail, faxes, and medical records processing as required.
• Take messages for physicians/nurses and support front/back-office projects.
