Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a Customer Experience Representative to check in/out patients and schedule appointments in the Mesa, AZ area. You will verify insurance details, collect patient liabilities, and provide financial guidance to maximize reimbursement. The role emphasizes strong communication and a courteous, detail-focused approach in a fast-paced clinic setting.

You will work with the Pediatric Cardiology Clinic at 1432 S. Dobson Rd.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
1+ year of experience in patient financial services, collections or insurance processes preferred.
Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
Proficient with common office software (MS Word/Excel, databases).

Responsibilities

Register/check-in patients with accurate data entry and intake forms.
Verify insurance eligibility and obtain referrals/authorizations as needed.
Collect patient liability and explain financial policies and payment options.
Post payments/charges and reconcile daily cash appropriately.
Schedule appointments and coordinate care with providers to optimize patient flow.
Assist with patient requests and patient records following privacy rules.
