Job summary

Gracent Pediatric Therapy (NSPT) is hiring a Behavior Technician to work 1:1 with children aged 2–12 in a supportive, assent-based environment. You will help build communication, independence, and confidence under the guidance of BCBA supervision, with ongoing mentorship and opportunities for certification and advancement.

The role emphasizes hands-on, active engagement, with paid training and clear pathways from BT to RBT and beyond.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have the physical stamina and mobility to actively engage with children.
• Afternoon/evening (starting at 3pm) and Saturday availability required.
• Commitment to assent-based, neuroaffirming care.

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with kids ages 2–12 to build communication, independence, and confidence.
• Play games on the floor to develop language and social skills.
• Help children learn to ask for help, tie shoes, or transition between tasks.
• Track progress and take session notes for BCBA to update therapy plans.
• Collaborate with the team to problem-solve, celebrate wins, and adjust support as needed.
• Stay flexible, as every child is different and every day brings something new.
