Job summary

Yale New Haven Health is seeking an Assistant Patient Services Manager to lead clinical and operational performance in a defined patient services area. You will model leadership, collaborate with nursing teams, and drive safe, efficient, and patient-centered care around the clock.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred), 2 years of clinical nursing and at least 1 year of leadership experience, and CT RN licensure with ongoing certification expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required; Master's preferred (one degree must be in nursing).
• Two years of clinical nurse experience and at least 1 year of leadership/supervisory experience.
• Current CT state RN licensure or eligibility; specialty certification preferred or willing to obtain within 18 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate patient flow across care settings with nursing and support teams.
• Ensure safe staffing levels and clinical competence to deliver high-quality care.
• Participate in financial planning and performance improvement to support unit goals.
• Promote PFCC and service excellence while maintaining 24/7 operational oversight.
