Job summary

Yale New Haven Health is seeking a Registered Professional Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care within our Connecticut facilities. The RN will practice under the CT Nurse Practice Act and ANA standards, emphasizing autonomy, accountability and collaboration with patients and families.

The role requires 2–3 years of RN experience, preferred pediatrics/outpatient exposure, and a current CT license with BCLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current BCLS certification or within one month of hire.
• 2-3 years RN experience required; pediatrics/outpatient experience preferred.
• Licensed and registered in the State of Connecticut; clinical specialty certification encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Uphold ANA Scope and Standards of Practice through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Provide patient-centered care and coordinate care with healthcare team; communicate effectively.
