Job summary

Achieve Beyond Pediatric Therapy & Autism Services is hiring Part-time, hourly Behavior Therapist Interns in the New York area to support children with developmental needs. You will deliver ABA instruction under BCBA supervision and collaborate with the treatment team, while guiding families to reinforce strategies at home and in the community.

The role offers hands-on clinical exposure, training, and ongoing support to help you accrue hours toward a degree in human services and related fields.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year working with children in a supervised setting.
• Current enrollment in an undergraduate program in psychology, healthcare, human services, education, or related field.
• Experience using ABA preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct ABA instruction according to the educational plan outlined by the BCBA.
• Participate in collaborative team meetings with BCBA and other Behavior Therapists on the case.
• Communicate frequently with family members by providing debriefs at the end of each session, as well as resources and strategies to implement at home and in the community.
• Collect daily data and organize the child's program book weekly.
• Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families in accordance with state and federal regulations.
