Job summary

Achieve Beyond, Inc. is seeking Intern Behavior Therapists in Westfield, NJ to provide direct ABA instruction under BCBA supervision. The role emphasizes collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, data collection, and ongoing family communication.

The internship offers part-time, hourly work with opportunities to gain hands-on clinical experience with children with special needs in home, community, and clinic settings.

Qualifications

• Must have a passion for working with children and families.
• At least 1 year working with children in a supervised setting.
• Undergrad enrollment in a related field is required.
• ABA experience is preferred but not required.
• Successful completion of 20 hours of classroom training and passing a competency exam is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct ABA instruction according to the educational plan outlined by the BCBA.
• Participate in collaborative team meetings with BCBA and other Behavior Therapists on the case.
• Communicate with families by providing debriefs and resources for home and community use.
• Collect daily data and update the child’s program book weekly.
• Maintain confidentiality of information per state and federal regulations.
