Job summary

Achieve Beyond Pediatric Therapy & Autism Services is hiring part-time Behavior Therapist Interns in the Melville area. The role involves providing direct ABA instruction, data collection, and family communication in home, clinic, or community settings.

Ideal candidates are undergraduates in psychology/health services with at least one year of supervised experience; training and competitive hourly pay are provided. Flexible, weekend-friendly schedules may be available.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with children and families.
• At least 1 year of supervised experience with children.
• Current enrollment in an undergraduate program in psychology, healthcare, human services, education, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct ABA instruction according to the educational plan outlined by the BCBA.
• Participate in collaborative team meetings with BCBA and other therapists.
• Communicate with families, provide debriefs and home/community resources.
• Collect daily data and maintain the child’s program book weekly.
• Maintain confidentiality per state and federal regulations.
