Job summary

Achieve Beyond Pediatric Therapy & Autism Services in the New York metro area is hiring part-time, hourly Behavior Therapists to support cases in Queens. You will provide direct ABA instruction, participate in team meetings with BCBA and therapists, and communicate with families to implement strategies at home and in the community.

Requirements include at least two years working with special needs children aged 2–21, completion of Achieve Beyond's 20-hour training with a competency exam, and

Qualifications

• At least 2 years working with special needs children ages 2–21 in a supervised setting.
• Successful completion of Achieve Beyond's 20-hour classroom training and passing the competency exam.
• Experience using ABA preferred.
• Must be enrolled in or have completed a relevant undergraduate/graduate program in psychology, healthcare, human services, education, or related field.
• Self-motivated, team player with patience and professionalism.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication with children, families, and supervisor.
• Comfortable working in a home-based setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct ABA instruction according to the plan outlined by the BCBA.
• Participate in collaborative team meetings with BCBA and other therapists.
• Communicate frequently with families, providing debriefs and home/community resources.
• Collect daily data and maintain the child's program book weekly.
• Maintain confidentiality per state and federal regulations.
