Qualifications

• Active PE license required or ability to obtain by comity within 90 days.
• 6+ years in construction materials testing, geotechnical engineering, or special inspection with client-facing responsibility.
• Experience bringing in work or a credible plan to do so in this market.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a book of clients for materials testing, special inspection, and geotechnical services.
• Scope, price, and write proposals; negotiate terms and convert opportunities into signed work.
• Serve as engineer of record on projects you win: review data, resolve tests, and seal reports/letters.
• Direct technicians and inspectors and coordinate with the lab on testing schedules.
• Represent the company at owner meetings, pre-construction meetings, and industry events.
