Job summary

RRD is seeking a Managing Director, Private Equity, to lead strategic PE relationships and drive enterprise value across portfolio companies. The role emphasizes a low-volume, high-trust Account-Based Selling approach, with an incentive program tied to performance and MSAs.

The candidate will identify, secure, and expand relationships with PE Operating Partners, Portfolio Operations leads, and Value Creation directors, leveraging RRD’s services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related discipline; MBA preferred.
• Experience with private equity, portfolio company relationships, and MSA processes.
• Geographic location in SF Bay Area or other major PE hubs to facilitate face-to-face engagement.

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage Portfolio Operations leads, Operating Partners, and Value Creation directors within targeted funds.
• Build deep, recurring PE relationships using Account-Based Selling.
• Navigate PE procurement processes to secure MSAs across portfolio companies.
• Expand RRD’s footprint across multiple portfolio assets via initial PortCo success.
• Cross-sell and scale services within the PE ecosystem.
• Lead with value creation tactics, including pre-acquisition assessments.
