Construction Material Testing seeks licensed Professional Engineers to grow a client book in Hawaii while performing engineering review, sealing reports, and coordinating field and lab work. You will balance business development with technical workload, earning compensation tied to client revenue and project success.

You bring relationships, a license, and the ability to manage a book of business across materials testing, geotechnical services, and special inspection.

Qualifications

• Active PE license in the posting state or ability to obtain by comity within 90 days.
• Track record of bringing in work or credible plan to secure new business.
• Comfort with pricing, negotiating, and declining unfavorable contracts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a book of clients for materials testing, special inspection, and geotechnical services.
• Scope, price, and write proposals; negotiate terms; convert opportunities into signed work.
• Serve as engineer of record on won projects: review field and lab data, seal reports/letters.
• Direct technicians on projects and coordinate with the lab on testing schedules.
• Represent the company at owner meetings, pre-construction meetings, and industry events.
