Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a PCVD Process Lead in Boise, Idaho to drive performance, yield improvements, and operational excellence in a premier memory fab.

You will lead the PCVD process area, mentor engineers and technicians, and partner with Manufacturing, Equipment Engineering, Technology Development, Facilities, and global sites to enable technology transfers and scalable manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years in semiconductor manufacturing, process engineering, or advanced manufacturing.
• Ability to analyze complex technical problems and deliver data-driven solutions that improve manufacturing performance.
• Experience leading multi-functional projects, engineering teams, or functional workgroups in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily technical execution of the PCVD process area, ensuring secure, consistent, and efficient manufacturing performance.
• Drive improvements in yield, quality, process control, cycle time, and output through data analysis, root cause investigation, and systematic problem solving.
• Prioritize work, allocate resources, and coordinate critical activities to meet operational and business objectives.
• Develop and mentor engineers and technicians through coaching, technical guidance, training, and performance feedback.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Equipment Engineering, Technology Development, Facilities, and global sites to enable process readiness, technology transfers, and adoption of guidelines.
• Lead technical reviews, communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences, and support timely decision-making through risk assessment and mitigation.
• Support new tool installations, process qualifications, process changes, and manufacturing ramp activities to improve capability and operational performance.
• Champion data analytics, automation, AI-enabled tools, and continuous improvement methodologies to increase efficiency, strengthen process capability, and accelerate problem solving.
