Job summary

Micron Technology in Boise, ID is seeking a Lead PCVD Equipment Engineer to steer a team of engineers, enhance manufacturing capability, and drive yield and throughput improvements at scale.

You will set strategic direction, collaborate with manufacturing, facilities, and global partners, and contribute to the growth of Micron's expanding semiconductor operations. Strong leadership, technical, and communication skills are essential for delivering results in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Physical Sciences, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years of semiconductor manufacturing experience with previous people leadership experience.
• Demonstrated success leading teams, managing multiple complex projects, and solving challenging technical problems.
• Strong knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes, equipment engineering practices, and operational excellence methodologies.
• Excellent communication, organizational, data analysis, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of equipment engineers to achieve manufacturing, quality, output, and cost objectives.
• Define team strategy, establish performance goals, and allocate resources to support business priorities.
• Drive equipment optimization initiatives to enhance yield, throughput, and operational efficiency.
• Partner with global manufacturing and engineering teams to implement best-known methods and support equipment installation, modification, and relocation projects.
• Communicate technical and business updates to leadership, team members, and large multi-functional audiences.
