Job summary

Micron Technology in Boise, Idaho is seeking a Process Lead for the PCVD area to drive performance and yield in a high-volume memory fab. You will lead daily technical execution, mentor engineers, and coordinate with global sites to enable process readiness and technology transfer.

You will champion data analytics, automation, and AI-enabled tools to improve capability and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing operations in a collaborative, safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related technical field.
• Five or more years of semiconductor manufacturing, process engineering, or advanced manufacturing experience.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex technical problems and deliver data-driven solutions that improve manufacturing performance.
• Experience leading multi-functional projects, technical initiatives, engineering teams, or functional workgroups in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication, collaboration, organizational, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence outcomes across organizations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily technical execution of the PCVD process area, ensuring secure, consistent, and efficient manufacturing performance.
• Drive improvements in yield, quality, process control, cycle time, and output through data analysis, root cause investigation, and systematic problem solving.
• Prioritize work, allocate resources, and coordinate critical activities to meet operational and business objectives.
• Develop and mentor engineers and technicians through coaching, technical guidance, training, and performance feedback.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Equipment Engineering, Technology Development, Facilities, and global sites to enable process readiness, technology transfers, and adoption of guidelines.
• Lead technical reviews, communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences, and support timely decision-making through risk assessment and mitigation.
• Support new tool installations, process qualifications, process changes, and manufacturing ramp activities to improve capability and operational performance.
• Champion data analytics, automation, AI-enabled tools, and continuous improvement methodologies to increase efficiency, strengthen process capability, and accelerate problem solving.
