Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Kearney, Nebraska. This PCU RN role involves 13 weeks of assignment with 36 hours per week, night shifts, and a travel employment type.

The Nurse will provide bedside care, monitor cardiac and other vital information, and administer medications while maintaining patient safety and quality care in a fast-paced unit. ACLS/BLS required with 1–2 years of acute care experience.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience.
• PCU/step-down experience preferred.
• ACLS, BLS, NIH certifications required or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize cardiac patients.
• Monitor vital signs and patient status; administer prescribed medications.
• Interpret monitoring equipment; respond to adverse changes.
• Document care and report to team as needed.
