Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Kearney, Nebraska.

The PCU travel nurse will care for patients requiring close monitoring and frequent assessment. 36 hours per week with 12-hour day shifts. 1–2 years of acute care experience preferred; ACLS/BLS/NIH certifications may be required. Ongoing assignments with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• NIH validation or certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize critical cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Administer and record prescribed medications and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Monitor specialized equipment and interpret electronic displays.
