Key People seeks a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time, on-site role in Great Falls, Montana. The RN will provide direct care on a PCU/Stepdown unit, focusing on patients with a range of complex medical and post-surgical needs.

The position emphasizes teamwork, excellent nurse-to-patient ratios, and strong administrative support. The ideal candidate has an ADN (BSN preferred), Montana RN licensure, BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications (or within 6 months), and post-graduate

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Active, unrestricted Montana RN licensure or compact endorsement eligibility.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required or to be obtained within 6 months.
• Post-graduate clinical practice in an advanced Medical/Surgical unit with ICU/PCU/stepdown experience.
• Dedicated pediatric nursing experience is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to hemodynamically stable or unstable PCU patients.
• Manage diverse patient populations including post-PCI care and complex surgical cases.
• Monitor for deterioration using assessment tools and intervene to stabilize patients.
• Operate arterial lines, central lines, chest tubes and other advanced equipment.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams from admission through discharge planning.
• Serve as floor clinical leader and mentor LPNs, CNAs, and ancillary staff.
