Job summary

Zaddy Solutions is seeking a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time, on-site role in Great Falls, Montana. You will care for hemodynamically stable and unstable patients in a specialty medical/surgical stepdown unit during day shifts.

The ideal candidate holds an ADN with Montana RN licensure (BSN preferred) and certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS, with post-graduate PCU/ICU experience. Pediatric nursing experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Active Montana RN license or immediate compact/endorsement eligibility.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (or within 6 months of hire). EPNC/TNCC preferred.
• Post-graduate practice in an advanced Medical/Surgical unit with recent Critical Care or PCU/Stepdown experience.
• Pediatric nursing experience is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care for hemodynamically stable or unstable PCU patients.
• Manage a diverse patient population including pre/post-PCI care and complex surgical cases.
• Monitor and stabilize deteriorating conditions using telemetry and monitoring tools.
• Operate arterial lines, central lines, chest tubes, NGTs, and short-term ventilatory support.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams from admission to discharge.
• Lead on the floor, mentoring LPNs, CNAs, and ancillary staff.
