First Choice Nurses is actively seeking experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital opportunities throughout the Hampton Roads area. You can pick up shifts that fit your schedule, including days and nights, with options for daily and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN License required.
• Minimum 2 years PCU nursing experience within past 4 years.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption may be required.
• Additional credentials may be required based on hospital assignment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care in an acute hospital setting.
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments per physician orders.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and other PCU equipment.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and adhere to patient-safety guidelines.
