Job summary
First Choice Nurses is seeking experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital shifts in the Hampton Roads area. You can pick up shifts or build a fuller schedule with day or night options, and enjoy the flexibility of per diem nursing.

Qualifications
- Active Virginia RN License
- Minimum 2 years of PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption
- Additional credentials may be required based on the hospital assignment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care in an acute care hospital setting
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments according to physician orders
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and other specialized equipment for PCU patients
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records
- Follow hospital policies, infection-control standards, and patient-safety guidelines
- Adapt professionally to different hospital environments and unit needs
