First Choice Nurses is actively seeking experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital opportunities throughout the Hampton Roads area in Virginia. You choose when you work, with options for day or night shifts and daily or weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
• Current BLS certification (AHA).
• Current ACLS certification (AHA).
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within the past 12 months required.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption may be required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care in an acute care hospital setting.
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments per physician orders.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and PCU equipment.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and documentation.
