First Choice Nurses is seeking experienced PCU RNs for per diem hospital shifts across Virginia. You can choose shifts based on your availability, with options for daily or weekly pay and flexible scheduling. This role offers control over your calendar and the chance to build a larger schedule as desired.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within past 4 years.
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.

Responsibilities

• Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions.
• Monitoring cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status.
• Administering medications and IV therapies as ordered.
• Collaborating with physicians and care teams.
• Maintaining accurate electronic medical records.
• Educating patients and families regarding care and discharge plans.
• Adapting to different hospital units and environments.
